It is noteworthy that in September last year, Rahul Gandhi had stated in a statement in the United States that the environment in India is not conducive for Sikhs and whether a Sikh would be allowed to wear a turban, a kada, or visit a gurdwara.
Advocate Anuj Yadav stated that Nageshwar Mishra, a resident of Tilmapur, Sarnath, had filed a suit in the court of Judicial Magistrate (II), calling this statement a conspiracy. Subsequently, the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (MP-MLA Court) dismissed the suit after hearing the petition.
Mishra had filed a review petition in the Sessions Court against the lower court’s order. The Sessions Court accepted the review petition and ordered the lower court to rehear the case. The pending petition was dismissed on Friday after a hearing.
